Named in part from the golden tips, our Golden Monkey black tea hails from Fujian Province in China where it is traditionally crafted using sun withering, rolling, fermentation, and drying. The tea is strong bodied, with hints of cocoa, malt, and caramel.
Quantity: 2 - 3 teaspoons per cup
Temperature: 190°F - 200°F
Steeping Time: 1 - 2 minutes
Number of Steepings: 4 - 5. This tea tends not to turn bitter or astringent.
