Coriander Seed - Indian
India
/
Coraindrum sativum
This coriander is bright and fresh flavored. We find that the citrus top notes offered up by Indian coriander are much stronger than those found in the European variety. Another distinguishing mark is the seed shape, which is oval instead of round.
Indian coriander shines in curries for with authentic depth of flavor. It will aslo brighten up rubs for chicken and fish. Try Indian Coriander alone or in combination with other spices, but be sure not to overpower its wonderful flavor bouquet.
