Loaded Maple Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F
  2. Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  3. Pierce each sweet potato several times with a fork to create small holes. This helps steam escape while baking.
  4. Place the sweet potatoes directly on a baking sheet. Bake for approximately 1 hour, or until the sweet potatoes are tender and can be easily pierced with a fork.
  5. While the sweet potatoes are baking, prepare the toppings so they can easily be sprinkled to taste.
  6. Once the sweet potatoes are done baking, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly for a few minutes. Using a knife, make a lengthwise slit along the top of each sweet potato, creating an opening to stuff. Gently push on the ends of each sweet potato to open the slit wider.
  7. Add a dab of butter to taste.
  8. Sprinkle the Cinnamon Toast Spice and Maple Sugar over the buttered flesh of each sweet potato and finish with a pinch of Pacific Flake Sea Salt.
  9. Enjoy the delicious combination of sweet and savory flavors in every bite!
