Directions

  1. Place the saucepan on the stove over low heat.
  2. Add the maple syrup and Roast Chai to the saucepan.
  3. Gently warm the syrup and chai mixture, stirring occasionally.
  4. Allow the mixture to heat for about 10 minutes, ensuring it doesn't come to a boil. This helps infuse the chai flavors into the syrup. Keep an eye on the mixture and stir occasionally to prevent any burning or over bubbling in the pan.
  5. After 10 minutes, carefully taste the syrup to gauge the level of chai flavor.
  6. If you desire a stronger chai flavor, you can continue to simmer for an additional 5 minutes and taste again.
  7. Once infused with chai flavor, remove the saucepan from the heat and allow the syrup to cool slightly.
  8. Slowly pour the chai-infused maple syrup through the strainer to remove the chai spices. Press gently to extract all the infused syrup.
  9. Transfer the strained chai-infused maple syrup into an airtight container or glass bottle.
  10. Allow the syrup to cool completely before sealing the container. Store the container in the refrigerator to maintain freshness and flavor.
