The Dutch who settled South Africa went looking to the bush for a tea substitute and came back with this shrub whose name in Africans literally means "Red Bush". Brew Rooibos for a tea with subtle smokiness that's surprisingly like leaf tea. We've used it as a base ingredient in our Copper Lemon, and it's also delicious used as a black tea replacement with our Sweet Chai Masala or Roast Chai Masala for a caffeine-free chai beverage.
