Rooibos, a bush from South Africa, is harvested from mid-January to April. The bush is hand harvested and the leaves are sun-dried. This tea produces a wonderful flavor-that pairs well with milk and honey.
Rooibos is high in antioxidants and may be consumed at night since it is free of caffeine. Brew Rooibos for a tea with subtle smokiness and round in mouthfeel. We've used it as a base ingredient in our Copper Lemon, and it's also delicious used as a black tea replacement with our Sweet Chai Masala or Roast Chai Masala for a caffeine-free chai beverage.
Brewing Suggestions: Brew 4-6 minutes at 210°F; 1 steeping.
