Good quality, as expected from World Spice. I might have brewed this first cup a bit strong, will try it with a few less tea leaves next time. But it has a nice girthy tea taste.

Irish Breakfast Tea blend is my absolute favorite of all black teas and World Spice makes the best I've tasted to date.... and I've tried many brands including chi-chi ones and imported brands. What I love about World Spice's blend is they have the right balance of Assam and also, there is next to no tea dust in the bag. It's hard to over-brew this tea, if you like a nice strong cuppa. It has a brightness and lack of muddiness or cardboardiness I've picked up in other brands. This is my 3rd of 4th time buying this blend. After buying a full lb. last year, without realizing how much tea that is, I now buy smaller quantities more frequently. This tea stands up nicely to milk and sugar (or rice and stevia as the case may be). 1 heaping tsp per 14 oz cup, brewed for 5-7 min is perfect for me. I do miss the more environmentally friendly paper bags for scooped at the store refills.

My wife has her morning coffee; I have this. It's very woodsy, has a great aroma, and definitely helps me wake up. It's become apart of my morning routine; I enjoy my tea while reading my Bible every morning before getting my day started.

As a child, I remember my Irish grandmother receiving Irish Tea parcels wrapped in brown paper and string. The brown paper and string are no longer, but I suppose I enjoy this Irish Tea as much as she did hers.
I am not sure why I gave it 4 stars, but I have been drinking Irish Breakfast from World Spice for years. I get 4 or 5 different black teas there too (for many years). Irish Breakfast is my go to when I need a stronger wake up tea. I love choosing the tea I am in the mood for (Earl Grey, English Breakfast which I mix from Keemun and Assam, Irish Breakfast, and Lapsang Souchong). I am always so pleased coming home with my purchases and transferring them into their cannisters. Yea Tea!
