Togarashi Chicken Marinade

Ingredients


Marinade
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 orange, juiced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped garlic
  • 1.5 inches ginger root, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons Togarashi
  • 4-6 chicken breasts

To Serve:
  • Rice
  • Green onions
  • Peanuts

Directions

  1. Put water, soy sauce, sesame oil, orange juice, lime juice, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, and Togarashi seasoning in a bowl. Mix well.
  2. Cut chicken into cubes.
  3. Put marinade and chicken cubes into a gallon-sized Ziploc bag and mix well. Place in the refrigerator for at least one hour. Overnight works best!
  4. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  5. Empty the contents of the Ziploc bag into a baking dish. Spread the chicken cubes out.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Serve over rice and garnish with cilantro and nuts for texture, as desired. Be sure to scoop the garlic, ginger, and loose seasoning off the bottom to get all that extra flavor packed into each serving!
