This Ti Kuan Yin is produced in the traditional method of coal firing, which brings out its subtle toasty and sweet character. When brewed this character is matched with a deep, lingering floral nose, and a light astringency. Often called "Iron Goddess of Mercy," the "iron" is meant to indicate the strength and lasting power of this tea.

Brewing Instructions

Brew for 1 to 2 minutes at 200°F; 4 to 6 steepings.
