Black pepper. It inspired the Age of Discovery, once trading for a price above gold. Not bad for a seasoning! Five centuries later, it remains a favorite.

Our current offering is this black pepper from Indonesia. It  has a wonderfully high oil content and a corresponding intensity! The heat is rather forward, with a signature black pepper bite. Freshly ground Indonesian black pepper has a mellow camphor bouquet with hints of cinnamon.

Every year, we bring in a fresh crop of the black pepper for maximum freshness, choosing from only the finest available on the market. We recommend grinding right before use to experience optimal flavor.
