Culinary Tea: More Than 150 Recipes Steeped in Tradition from Around the World is an informative treasure that will inspire home and professional chefs alike with new ways to approach tea in the kitchen. It features over 100 sweet and savory recipes from honey jasmine wafers to classic tea-smoked duck. The authors, Cynthia Gold and Lisa Stern, have done well to provide a well-organized an extensive set of recipes within all of the categories one might expect: starters, entrees, desserts, and more. We particularly enjoyed the section on tea-based rubs and marinades and were impressed with the offering of cocktails and tea-based infusions. Far from a simple recipe book, this comprehensive guide also offers a background in tea types, flavor profiles, origin and preparation.
