The English are quite opportunistic when it comes to their tea and are responsible for establishing tea cultivation all across the Indian sub-continent. At the same point in history England had important trade ties with China and they became quite fond of the Quimen District tea we know in modern times as Keemun. The marriage of two sources, China and Northern India, led to the creation of many different blends we now know as "English Breakfast". We mix our own version of English Breakfast here in the shop from choice Assam and Keemun.
Brew 3 minutes at 210° F; 1 steeping.
