Camellia sinensis

We have a lot of disconnected coffee drinkers who wander into our Seattle store. To avoid putting them on a direct caffeine drip, we pull out the classic pine-smoked tea from Fujian province of China. Deep aromas of smoke come out in a very strong cup. Also used in cooking as either a strong infusion for a sauce or as a smoking agent in the bottom of a dry wok.

Brew 3 minutes at 210° F; 1 steeping.
