

Camellia sinensis

One of the most prized jasmine teas, these are small
rolled balls of only the top grade of tender spring leaf. Scented indirectly
several times with fresh jasmine flowers and rolled to hold in the essence
of floral sweetness, this tea releases its flavor as the buds unfurl.
Brewing in a glass vessel makes for intense jasmine flavor and one of
the best shows in tea as the leaves perform the "dancing of the spiders."
Brew 1.5 minutes at 190° F; 3 steepings.
