Camellia sinensis

The Japanese drink the classic rice tea in huge volumes with meals. The grade we offer is heavy in rice content which makes for a more toasted flavor in the cup. Some of the toasted rice is popped like popcorn for a beautiful display in the brewing pot.

Brew 1 to 2 mintues at 200° F; 2 steepings.
