Kala JeeraCuminum cyminum spices : Kala Jeera Item # 0122 Deep malt and grass notes come out in this cousin of the more familiar "white" cumin. Seen in the same recipes as other seeds in the "jeera" family, it's a nice change of pace toward the darker, more savory side of the palate. Very common in Middle Eastern cuisine, Kala Jeera is often mistranslated as regular cumin or nigella (both of which are different but available here).
