Freeze drying helps preserve the delicate flavor of mild onion in this herb. Cut chives are great on the traditional baked potato, but try to break the mold and use them in soups, rubbed on chicken, or herb dips for vegetables. Notice the volume per ounce is large because freeze dried herbs have very little weight.
