Description and Uses |
|||
| This Peruvian cultivar is from the seldom seen Baccatum sub-species of chiles. ""Cereza" means cherry in Spanish and it's easy to see how it got that name: dark maroon in color and round in shape, it has the appearance and size of a Bing cherry. Curiously, it also has some cherry notes in it's flavor along with a winy tang. a great all purpose chile for perking up soups and sauces. | |||
