Description and Uses
This smallish pointed chile pod has an heat that stays with you a long while. The sharpness is seen in many Asian cuisines but can be used everywhere for an intensity of flavor and heat. The name means "Bird's beak" but is commonly mistranslated to "Bird's eye". There is a subtle smoke character in the flavor of this one.
